You Don't Have to Start Over
Sometimes we think growth means changing everything.
A new style.
A new business.
A new direction.
But often, the most meaningful growth happens when we slow down and nurture what has already taken root.
This year's Artisan MADE is about discovering fresh joy in your creativity, building confidence in your current season, and giving yourself permission to bloom exactly where you are planted.
Whether you've been creating for years or are simply ready to reconnect with your creative spark, you'll spend the weekend surrounded by artists who understand the journey.
What's Included
Your ticket includes:
• Four hands-on workshops
• Artisan Business Intensive
• Saturday instruction with featured artist Renee Smith
• Sunday Open Studio experience
• $35 Open Studio Credit

Weekend Schedule
Friday Morning
Wildflower Weaving
Start the weekend with a peaceful, hands-on weaving workshop inspired by wildflowers and natural textures.
Create something beautiful while settling into a slower pace for the weekend ahead.
Friday Afternoon
Artisan Business Intensive
Growing your creative business doesn't have to feel overwhelming.
We'll spend the afternoon talking through practical business topics, marketing, pricing, systems, and sustainable ways to build a business that fits your life.
Saturday Morning
Furniture Painting with Renee Smith
Learn furniture painting techniques from Renee as she walks you through transforming a piece with confidence and creativity.
Perfect for beginners and experienced painters alike.
Saturday Afternoon
Floral Palette Painting with Renee Smith
Celebrate color, flowers, and expressive painting in this beautiful floral workshop.
You'll leave with new techniques and fresh inspiration for future projects.
Sunday Afternoon
Open Studio
This has become one of our favorite parts of Artisan MADE.
Instead of everyone making the same project, you'll choose from a menu of mixed media creative experiences designed around your interests.
Your ticket includes a $35 credit toward your chosen project.
Danielle and Renee will spend the afternoon in the studio providing instruction, encouragement, creative conversation, and one-on-one guidance while you create at your own pace.
It's relaxed.
It's inspiring.
And it's the perfect way to finish the weekend.
Meet Your Instructors
Renee Smith - Rainy Day Vintage
Renee Smith is the artist behind Rainy Day Vintage, known for weaving story, soul, and texture into every piece she creates. Her classes blend intuitive color, mixed media, and quiet craftsmanship—guiding you to create art that feels deeply personal and beautifully grounded.
Danielle Kaminski - MADE by Danielle
Founder of Artisan MADE and owner of Reinvintage Warehouse, Danielle brings her love of texture, stitching, and textiles to the retreat. Her workshops encourage you to think outside the box and incorporate unique materials into your work.
An Intentionally Small Gathering
Artisan MADE isn't a conference.
It's a weekend designed for conversation, connection, and hands-on learning.
With only 12 attendees, you'll have plenty of opportunities to:
Ask questions during workshops.
Receive personal guidance from Danielle and Renee.
Share meals and meaningful conversations with fellow creatives.
Create in a relaxed, welcoming studio environment.
Leave feeling encouraged - not lost in a crowd.
Sometimes growth happens best around one table instead of one hundred chairs.
